Copyright & Licensing Policy

Default license.
Except where noted, the text on this site is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution–Noncommercial–No Derivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). See the human-readable summary and full legal code at the Creative Commons website.

What this allows without asking.
You may share the posts verbatim for noncommercial purposes with clear attribution and a link to the source, and you may download or print them unchanged.

Preferred online quoting.
To keep the web readable and to avoid duplicate content, please quote up to 150 words with attribution and a link back to the original page. This 150-word guideline is a preference, not a restriction on the CC license; the license still allows full, verbatim, noncommercial redistribution with attribution.

What requires permission.
Any commercial use, translations, edits/abridgments, or any other adaptations (including graphics overlays or audio narration) require prior written permission. For permissions, email [email protected].

Attribution format (TASL).
Please include Title, Author, Source, License. Example: “Entanglement in Halacha,” by Alexander Poltorak, Quantum Torah®, licensed CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (link title and license).

Images and other media.
Unless expressly stated, figures, photos, and third-party media are not covered by the site’s CC license. Rights remain with their respective owners.

Exceptions.
Where a page or download carries a different notice (e.g., all rights reserved), that notice controls for that material.
